KALBARRI AND DENHAM

KALBARRI AND DENHAM
We have been to Kalbarri it was such a nice place the National park was great so beautiful. We just did a bit of sightseeing had a quite day then moved on to Denham near Monkey Mia,
I love Denham the waters are just beautiful we spent the day at the National Park it was a sandy track 4WDs only we saw a shark, dolphins, manta ray, lots of fish from the looks outs such a fantastic part of the country. We went to Monkey Mia to see the dolphins even though we have seen so many, you can’t come this far and not go to Monkey Mia it is just a resort in the middle of a National Park not much there and the encounter we had with the dolphins at Whyalla was much more exciting, the dolphins at Monkey Mia come in to be feed they know they get feed every day they do 3feeds. We also went to Ocean Park they tell you all about the marine life in the area it was really interesting.
We did a bit of fishing off the jetty you have to love this life there is so much to see. I still love seeing the sunset every day.

BUNBURY AND PERTH

We stayed in Bunbury for 2 nights that was enough the park was shit all these parks that call themselves family parks kid friendly should really check there facilities, they like to charge you up to $10 per child per night but there playgrounds and toilets have a lot to be desired, I don't know how a 4 year old can use $10 water & power per night. well that's my complaining for now.
Dad had to have his car fixed so we stayed for that then off to Perth.
We spent 4 nights in Perth, It was not what i expected at all we went into the city saw the mint, Kings Park,Fremantel. The cat bus service was fantastic you jump on & off the bus all day in the city for free it was so easy to get around.
To cold for the kids to swim so just a look at the beach.
I couldn't wait to move on it felt all to busy for me i wanted to head to the smaller towns.

MARGARET RIVER

In Margaret River we tasted cheese, chocolate went to the Lake Caves & down to Augusta.
They have cows spread out all over the region that people have painted they will be going to action at some time i enjoyed trying to find them & take there photo.
I have posted a few of my favourite ones.

ALBANY TO MARGARET RIVER

ALBANY THROUGH TO MARGARET RIVER
We stayed in Albany it was pouring when we arrived and it was cold, we didn’t do too much we only stayed 4 nights.
Next we headed to Denmark we stayed down at Perry’s beach only $7 a night, it is a pretty spot. On the way we stopped at the Green pool & to Elephant rocks we got out to have a look Mark & myself we got drenched I couldn’t even see the Green pool the rain was so heavy, i didn’t even bother with Elephant rocks . We had to get changed in the van before we even got back in the car.
Then we stopped at the Mead place to try the honey & the mead, it’s not my thing, Forest liked it, we bought honey & had an ice cream even though in was freezing.
Next stop on the way was the cider & toffee factory on the way, yes we tried all the cider i didn’t like it, we tried all the toffee we could it was delicious. We reached the beach & it was getting dark it was a busy day.
The next day we were heading to Walpol to the giant trees, on the way we stopped at the dinosaur centre it was good. That night we stayed at Shannon national park for the night, we had a camp fire it was very nice. The next day we headed to Margaret River, on the wat we stopped at the Valley of the Giants & the Gloucester tree you can climb it 64 meters high, Forest & Alyssa climbed up to the top not me i don't like it when you can see through the stairs. Go Alyssa what a champ, Ella wanted to go but i was not going to let her. I’m very behind so i will post some pics & start from where we are now.

ESPERENCE

"Esperence" What can i say, it's the most beautiful place the water is so clean & blue & the sand is the whitest i have ever seen it is so fine it squeaks when you walk on it.
We spent a day down at the Cape Le Grand National Park it was very beautiful, the kids got to go for a swim they where very happy about that it's been awhile.
We saw hundreds of emus in the paddocks on the in sharing with the cows.
The next day Mark ,Alyssa & myself went back to climb Frenchman's peek, it is about 230 metres high, it was a great way to start the day.
You had views that just went on forever.
That same day we went for a drive around the tourist route it is just so pretty, we saw a pod of dolphins around 50 of them riding the waves it was great to see so many of them we enjoyed our time here it a much see if you are ever in W.A.
